Courageous Kids
Our mission is to show children Jesus and equip them to follow Him. Our Courageous Kids staff strive to fulfill this mission while engaging each child in a personal way. Each staff member has completed a thorough application, background check, and Growth Track.
Birth - Kindergarten
Our nursery is staffed with professional, caring adults who provide a safe and secure environment conducive to the child’s physical, social, and spiritual growth. When you are confident in leaving your baby in the care of our staff, you are able to worship with a sense of security.
Grades 1-5
Our children’s Worship Experiences are fully staffed with adults and students who are committed to ministering to children and teaching the Bible in a creative and relevant way. Your child will experience high-energy praise and worship and learn valuable lessons for life through small groups, activities, and illustrated messages. You can be confident that your child is well-cared for and having a great time while you worship.
Frequently Asked Questions
We will text you if your child needs you so keep your phone on silent but handy during the Worship Experience. If we are unable to reach you through text, your child’s check-in number will appear on the main screen in the auditorium.
Yes. Any member of the Dream Team or the Info Desk can take you there where you can comfortably nurse your baby.
Children’s experiences happen during every adult Worship Experience. You can check your child in as early as 15 minutes prior to any Worship Experience.
The Info Desk or any member of our Dream Team can accompany you to the correct area for your child.
All Staff and Dream Team who work in any of our children’s areas have gone through a thorough application process that includes an extensive background check and receive consistent training. In addition, we use an electronic check-in system. Parent’s receive a pick up pass that must be presented to pick up a child. A member of our Security Team is stationed in our Ckid’s area.
If your child is an infant or toddler, bring a diaper bag with items your child may need such as: diapers, wipes, bottles or sippy cups, and pacifiers to comfortably get them through their time with us. We ask that children of all age groups refrain from bringing toys or other personal belongings with them.
In the Nursery through-K, each week, Bible stories are brought to life through songs, play, puppets, video, and hands-on activities. For grades 1-5 we make the practical truths of the Bible relevant through exciting and age appropriate messages, games, videos, and high-energy praise and worship.
If you want to serve children in Courageous Kids you complete Growth Track. There you will receive an application and background check. All Ckids staff receives ongoing training.
