Pastor Tim has deep roots in Springfield. As a military kid he moved often, but Springfield was always the place his family returned to. Courageous has been a part of his story long before ministry, as it was the church he attended growing up.

Tim and his wife, Hannah, met in college and later served together for more than four years as Youth and Assistant Pastors in Quincy, Illinois. In September 2024, they moved back to Springfield with their two sons, Lincoln and Lucas, and Courageous quickly became home again for their family.

Tim loves helping people find real community, especially through small groups, where relationships grow and faith gets lived out together. When he’s not at church, he’s usually watching sports and proudly claiming the title of the Midwest’s biggest Yankees fan.
