Am I Cursed or Blessed?
Maybe you’ve asked yourself this before—but never out loud: “Am I cursed? Is something just… off in my life?”
It’s easy to feel like you’re dragging around invisible chains from your past—generational patterns, broken relationships, or spiritual roadblocks you feel like you can’t explain. But the real question isn’t what’s happening to me? The real question is: What did Jesus already do for me?
And here’s the answer–You’re not cursed. You’re already blessed.
The Bible says, “Christ redeemed us from the curse... so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.” (Galatians 3:13–14)
Jesus didn’t just forgive your sins—He broke the curse. And He didn’t leave you empty-handed. He gave you the Holy Spirit, the living, breathing proof that the blessing now lives in you.
The Holy Spirit isn’t just a spiritual experience—He’s the person of God present in your life right now. He’s the one who gives you power to live with boldness, gives you love that changes how you relate to others, and empowers you with self-control to silence the lies of your past. (2 Timothy 1:6–7)
He’s the one who convicts, comforts, renews, and empowers. And He doesn’t just touch your life—He transforms it. No curse can stand in His presence. No shame can survive His voice.
When the Holy Spirit fills you, you don’t just feel different—you are different. You carry the blessing of Abraham, fulfilled in Christ and activated in you. You’re adopted into God’s family, filled with His power, and commissioned for His purpose.
So next time the question creeps in—“Am I cursed or blessed?”—you can answer with confidence:
I am blessed.
I carry the Holy Spirit.
And I’m walking in everything God has planned for me.
